Tricon Development Group was formed in 1995; however, its principals, though, have over 25 years of experience. Tricon’s multi-faceted business encompasses activities that include the renovation and subsequent leasing of existing buildings, multi-family development and construction, and the purchase of raw land for new construction. Tricon fashions itself as having experience in creating, funding, and orchestrating the process of development and construction from project inception to the conclusion of projects.

The company and one of its principals, Brian Wolfson, have been recognized in recent publications, such as: Builder/ Architect, Custom Home, DesignNJ, New Jersey Home & Style, New Jersey LifeStyle, New Jersey Monthly, Philadelphia Style, and South Jersey Magazine. These highly acclaimed publications often seek out Mr. Wolfson to discuss the latest design trends or noteworthy projects to be included in their respective publications. Two years ago, Mr. Wolfson was the focus of a broadcast quality TV show airing on CN8. In addition, Home & Garden Television is slated to present the Wolfson family home in Haddonfield on What You Get For The Money, a national show showcasing quality and substance differences between homes across the country.

Tricon believes that no matter how talented any individual may be, development is a team effort. The Project Team that Tricon has assembled illustrates its innate capacity to recognize the demands of a project and staff accordingly. Tricon has assembled a team of professionals to address the environmental, physical and economic issues inherent in a complex development project such as this. Success hinges upon the ability to coordinate the completion of a series of interrelated parts. Tricon’s partners have deep experience in managing professionals. Tricon will orchestrate such critical path items as urban design and architecture, the financing needed to pull together a difficult deal, market consultants to assess demand, and project economics.

Tricon Development Group, Inc.

As a local, vested landowner and builder/developer, Tricon Development Group is thoroughly committed to tackling the long-term complexities of land assembly and urban redevelopment. Tricon is equally committed to solving the economic challenges that face this project and the City of Woodbury. Success requires the assembly of a comprehensive Project Team that shares Tricon’s commitment and possesses the skills and know-how to successfully design, finance, and implement a quality redevelopment project.

Simply put, Tricon Development Group has assembled a diverse Project Team that, collectively, is fully qualified to execute the G.G. Green Redevelopment Project. Members of the Project Team have been involved in a majority of the landmark and ongoing redevelopment projects in southern New Jersey. In addition, members of the Project Team have state wide and national reputations as leaders in the areas of urban redevelopment, smart growth, and quality urban and architectural design.

The Project Team intends to work closely with the City of Woodbury to deliver a project that Woodbury wants and a project that will be a catalyst to “turn the tide” in the City. The Project Team, for example, understands both the historic significance and the poor condition of the G.G. Green Building. While an outsider might make every effort to demolish the structure, the Project Team is researching every option to save the G.G. Green Building. The Project Team has experience in saving and reusing similar structures (for example: The Finlaw Building in Salem, New Jersey and Congers Station in Clarkstown, NY) as well as experience in main street redevelopment, mixed-use urban design, and infill development.
